BSS ran the Government of India Childline project in 6 blocks of Madhubani from September 2016, giving medical help, shelter, repatriation, restoration and protection to 761 children. With the community and police, 32 child marriages were stopped and 132 child labourers freed. With DCPU Darbhanga, child protection taskforces were formed in 60 villages with 316 members, and 4,862 birth registrations were issued.
